Wedding Shoe Buying Guide

All our shoes are currently sold in European sizes. The shoe size charts below details approximate conversion of European sizes to UK and US women’s shoe sizes. However, please note that these are only meant as a rough guide.

We recommend the following when deciding which shoe size to order:

If you occasionally fit half shoe sizes – opt for a larger European size to ensure a comfortable fit
If you are not sure which size to purchase - consider the style of the shoes whether they are pointed-toe, have an enclosed back or are peep toe shoes or sandals as this will make a difference to the width fitting and the comfort of the shoes. Alternatively, if you require wide-fitting shoes, opt for shoes from our wide-fitting range.
Please note that fitting will vary within the different brands. For example, a Benjamin Adams shoe size 39 may fit differently to a Belle shoe in the same size. Please refer to our 'Fitting Tips' on certain shoe styles for extra guidance.

Children's Shoe Fitting Guide

Please note: We recommend that you order children's shoes based on their usual shoes in European sizes as the conversions into UK and US sizes are very approximate and will vary within different brands of shoes.

A stunning pair of wedding shoes can add that all important wow factor to your wedding dress or simply add a delicate finishing touch to your bridal look. Every bride wants to feel comfortable on her wedding day so the comfort factor is vital - but how your wedding shoes complement your dress and how they complete your overall bridal look and wedding theme is also important in making the big decision!

Ivory and White Wedding Shoes
Our Benjamin Adams, Belle, Pink Paradox and Filippa Scott shoes are available mainly in Ivory. Selected styles are available readyily in white silk or satin and most are dyeable to your requirements using our shoe dyeing service.

The shoes in our Pink by Paradox range can also be bleached to a soft white shade for a small charge. The Benjamin Adams and Belle ranges are available as a bespoke order to be made in white silk for an additional charge which takes 6-8 weeks.

Please note that the shade of ivory will vary in the different brands of shoes as well as in different fabric choices i.e silk, satin or leather. The Benjamin Adams and Pink Paradox shoes are a mid-ivory shade whereas the belle range shoes can be a slightly deeper shade of ivory.

Comfortable wedding shoes
Your wedding shoes need to be comfortable as you will be on your feet for most of the day – from walking down the aisle to receiving guests to performing the traditional wedding dance! If you aren’t used to wearing high heels, opt for platform wedding shoes or fashionable tapered heel shoes. If you don’t need the added height, choose some sexy kitten heel bridal shoes or try our latest style of flat ballet pump wedding shoes

Shoes to complement your wedding dress
Consider the style of your dress when you are choosing your wedding shoes. Your shoes should complement the style of your dress but, at the same time, make your bridal look unique. If your dress is heavily embroidered or beaded, choose similar style beaded shoes or opt for plain, classic wedding shoes. If your dress is simple, modern and elegant, try a sparkling pair of crystal wedding shoes to add ultimate glamour to your big day!

The right shoes for the occasion

All our ranges of designer shoes are suitable for evening wear, party wear, balls, proms, pageants and any other special occasion. Shoes can be dyed black using our shoe dyeing service to wear with the classic black evening dress or dyed any other colour to match your party outfit.
